Here is the new IP I am sure all of you have been waiting for! It is about 90% set up, and I don't believe it will need any more restarts to get everything functioning correctly. HLStatsX is not yet enabled on it, and I wont be enabling it until the server box is closed down, which will be the 8th of this month.
208.100.45.115:27015 <-- That is the current IP. I would love for you guys to play on it and see how it works out, it should switch maps like the two servers already do when they reset. Everything should be exactly the same, let's hope it works out correctly! Also, HLStatsX is now only enabled on Egypt and Dustbowl. This is because HLStatsX charges daily approximate .2 Euros right now, meaning .1 Euros per server. Before it was charging .7 Euro/Day because we had several servers set up. So canceling early means less money spent over time, which is a good thing. -------------------- |

Yeah, I think it could be pretty cool. I play a bit of each, I just hope the Dustbowl-regulars and the Egypt-regulars don't mind a server that alternates between the two. Hopefully this streamlining will mean a server that's filled more often, too! |

I just wish Egypt's colors weren't so bland. I know its a good base from the real location.. It's just a little dull for my tastes. I still enjoy playing it though, it is a great map overall.

I agree, having two servers of regulars that are normally empty is no were near as fun as having one server that is almost always full! I just wish Egypt's colors weren't so bland. I know its a good base from the real location.. It's just a little dull for my tastes. I still enjoy playing it though, it is a great map overall. The colors are bland, so what? Do you play the game purely for it's artistic rendition of Egypt? The most important problem with Egypt is that it is far to confusing for beginning players, not the drab colors, if there were to be a redone version of Egypt, it would help a lot more if weren't as maze-like. It's not that, its just that theres tan everywhere. Not a whole lot of Red and Blu so it's kind of alienating.

Is there a way to make the respawn times on the egypt rotation on this new server to same respawn times as egypt on the old server? 15 Seconds for red is rediciulous. I believe it was 8 seconds for red on the old server and 3 for blue. That's what made it so successful.
